David Farmer was the Founding Director of the Dahesh Museum of Art in 1993, following more than thirty years of museum experience as curator and director. As an art historian, his particular interests are early Northern European and 19th-century academic art worldwide.
Stephen R. Edidin, Deputy Director and Chief Curator
Stephen R. Edidin, B.A. University of Chicago; M.A. Williams College; M.Phil. CUNY Graduate Center; J.D. Cardozo School of Law, previously served at the Dahesh Museum of Art from 1996 to 2007 as Curator and Chief Curator. His interests include American and European academic art as well as early photography and cinema.
ARIK BARTELMUS, REGISTRAR
Arik Bartelmus has been working as a registrar and fine art consultant for museums and galleries for more than 15 years. He has arranged loans and exhibitions on behalf of the Dahesh Museum for institutions worldwide.
